Tres Compadres will be performing at Steel City in Phoenixville as part of the Firebird Festival.
Joining the band will be flamenco dancer Lara Vracarich and flutist Tim Shay.
Lara Vracarich facilitates therapeutic creative movement, vocalization and community workshops for all ages.She has organized and presented numerous events, including workshops, performances and community development projects.
Lara has a BA in Dance Therapy, with minors in Healing, Spirituality and the Liberal Arts.She is a certified teacher of DansKinetics/ YogaRhythmics, which is the facilitation of movement and awareness in groups, intentionally accessing the core self through opening the flow of energy in the chakras and the body, mind and spirit of participants.She also integrates Sacred Circle work, counsel practice, the Five Rhythms work of Gabrielle Roth, the seven directions of earth spiritualities and the Expressive Arts in her facilitation.Lara has studied modern, jazz, ballet, improvisational, African, Afro-Brazilian and Flamenco dance forms at numerous schools, master intensives and workshops, and currently performs in Flamenco Aqui y Ahora, and as a multi-media artist, solo and with musical support.
