Dance instructor Teresa D’Aprile and guitarist Pat D’Aprile have studied in Madrid at the conservatory Amor De Dios, Cordoba at the International Festival of Guitar and Dance, Jerez at the Antonio El Pipa and Maria del Mar Moreno summer workshops and in San Lucar de Barrameda with Gerardo Nunez / Carmen Cortes’ Arte Danza Institute.
Pat has a BA in Music Education from Rutgers University. He has also studied jazz guitar with Joe Federico and classical guitar with Joe Mayes.
Teresa has a Master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Northern Iowa program in Spain. She is a high school Spanish teacher. She has taught flamenco at the Donna Tambussi School of Dance and at the Mount Vernon School of Dance in Philadelphia. Teresa is a member of and performs with the Philadelphia Dance company Flamenco Ole.
Teresa and Pat also perform together in the greater Philadelphia /New Jersey area. They are available for performances, workshops and special occasions.
